Now that spring is here and gardens are starting, we are making some slight adjustments to our regular activities.

To allow for a regular donation schedule and timely use of all donated food, we will be hosting Free Groceries events every Saturday throughout the summer starting in June. If you are interested in making a donation, we will have a bin set up in Esterhazy Public Library from 12-4pm on Fridays.

The Esterhazy Friday Community Markets will be starting for the season on Friday, May 30th. While the market organizers denied our request to attend and collect donations at the market due to our “political” nature, we would happily accept any donations from vendors and shoppers at the library.

If you would like to donate food, please follow these guidelines:

• Expired/out-of-date food products are ok as long as no obvious signs of spoilage are present.
• Homemade food products are accepted. Ingredients lists/allergy warnings are appreciated.
• We cannot accept any meat or dairy products (fresh or frozen) due to food safety concerns.
